More Silliness

I have so much fun playing with my daddy. He comes up with the silliest games. We play together all the time. I get laughing so hard it makes me cough! My daddy is the best!

Another Milestone

I have reached another milestone in my little life. I can sit all by myself. It happened very suddenly. I usually sit between my mommy's legs for balance and play with my toys. Then Thursday night I no longer needed her to help me stay up. I like that I am starting to have some independence. However, I might be getting a little to brave for my britches. Tonight during my bath I was sitting up like a big boy and I decided to go forward as if I were trying to crawl. That was probably the wrong place to try that out! I ended up with bubbles on my forehead. I should stick to only one milestone at a time.

Such a Big Boy

I just found out that I am officially huge. I had my six month checkup today and I weigh 21.5 pounds! I have giant thighs. My jammies are getting too tight! The sweet potatoes must be packing on the pounds.
I am looking forward to my first Thanksgiving. I can even taste some real food. It's going to be fun. Plus I get to stay home with my mommy and daddy for a few extra days. I can't wait for all of the festivities to come this weekend.

My First Halloween

For my first Halloween I was a penguin. I wasn't too thrilled about my costume. I would prefer to not be bundled up. I am much more comfy with my legs kicking away. It was cute, better than the hot dog costume my daddy would have picked out! I can't exactly say that I had the best time either. I cried and cried at the party that I went to and I slept through most of the actual day. I'm sure next year will be more fun. Maybe I can even pick out my own costume!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Boy have I been busy the past few weeks. I have had a bad cold the past week but it is finally starting to go away. My mommy and daddy are glad I am acting more like my happy self. Last week my mommy couldn't wait for Christmas so I got my new rain forest jumper. It is so much fun. I feel like such a big boy in it. I have been doing lots of finger painting at school. I had to play catch up the past few days because I was out sick. I finger painted a paper pumpkin and candy corn and even made paper ghosts from my painted feet! I do so many fun things at school. As you can see from the picture I started eating real food. My mommy wised up and realized that I don't like cereal. I got my first taste of sweet potatoes and I love them. I also like to try to feed myself. I have to do things on my own and I make a big mess. I now have to eat shirtless! I am looking forward to Halloween. I have a few stops to see my family in my penguin costume. I look so cute in it, but I'm told every day how adorable I am!

My First Boo Boo

Well it finally happened. On Saturday I got my first boo boo. I was playing in my bouncy seat (my favorite thing to do) and my mommy noticed a brown spot on my sock. When she took it off she realized it was blood. I had scraped the back of my foot. I was playing too hard in my bouncy seat! I love to go fast and kick as hard as I can. One of these days I am going to fly out of my seat. My poppy keeps trying to strap me in but that won't slow me down! I could keep going forever. I think it's funny when I make my parents laugh; they have more fun watching me than I do bouncing.

Fun With Daddy

Daddy and I love our silly time together! We have so much fun. Nobody can make me laugh like my daddy does!

Back to the Doctor

Today has already been a busy day for me. I slept in until 7:15 and watched JoJo's Circus before heading off to the doctor for my 4 month check up. I had to get 4 shots. I cried but I am a tough guy and got over it pretty quick. I found out I weigh 18 and a half pounds and am 27 inches long. I am getting so big. I also get to start eating foods now. I can't wait to start trying all sorts of new things!

My First Days of School

I just started school a few weeks ago. It has been a pretty easy adjustment. I do miss my mommy and daddy but my teachers are really nice. I have three teachers, Miss Beth, Miss Kara and Miss Andrea. Miss Beth is my favorite. At school we go for walks and play on the swing outside. The swing is fun. I don't remember many of the walks because I usually fall asleep! Last week I had my first finger painting experience. I painted an apple with yellow paint. I made a mess of myself! I also have lots of visitors at school. My parents come every day and my grandma comes to see me too. I like my school very much but nothing makes me happier than when my mommy and daddy come to pick me up.
